Background
Institute of Energy Infrastructure (IEI) was formally established in December 2016. As one of the core research institutes in University Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), IEI aspires to be globally known research institute in development and advancement of sustainable infrastructure in energy sector. In 2023, IEI has been awarded the Higher Institution Centres of Excellence (HICoE) Program by the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE). This program drive research excellence in the field of niche research. IEI is a proud winner of the service and consultancy aspects thus been awarded the HICoE Program for 5 years from 2023 to 2028.
